Hello lovelies and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Well, the Christmas and New Year break went very fast for us but we had a fabulous time letting our hair down and spending quality time with our family. We hope you did too!

To kick start 2022 at Living In Loveliness, we had a fabulous team meeting and looked at all your feedback and suggestions from the last twelve months and now we have two new launches for you for 2022!

Our first new feature is Tutorial Tuesday:

Every Tuesday at 7:30pm, we will be live with you on Facebook and will be alternating between live launches of new projects, patterns and supporting kits use with the following week’s live tutorial.

Our Tutorial Tuesday projects have been chosen to be super-fast, super-easy and fun as well as being a great way to use up your scraps.  We will be starting with a triangle zipper purse for our first Tutorial Tuesday project. I absolutely love the simplicity of these zipper purses and how useful they are. They are a great accessory for the sewing room and originally featured in our ‘Fabulously Fast Fat Quarter Fun’ sewing series – Issue 3 – ‘Sewing Room Accessories’. These lovely little purses are perfect for small items like your quilting clips or curved pins but I love mine when out walking our mischievous dog Teddy – I simply attached a D ring and keyring loop and clipped it onto Teddy’s lead.

This is also a great sewing project if, like me, you love super-fast, super-cute and easy projects which can have so many uses. When you make yours, be sure to tag us on Instagram and Facebook using the hashtags  #livinginloveliness #trianglularzipper so we can see your makes and uses.
