Hexagon Table Centre
It’s always wonderful when you are having a change around in the home, especially after Christmas. I find everywhere looks so bare when the decorations have been taken down and I usually want to start decorating. However, I look at my fabric stash and remember that sewing is going to bring me so much more excitement and after a wonderfully busy Christmas I’m welcoming every opportunity to relax and sew.
I absolutely love hexagons as the possibilities are endless when designing projects. One of our most recent patterns which was originally launched to our Fabulously Fast Fat Quarter members in October 2021 and featured on Sewing Street TV on Thursday 6th of January, is our Hexagon Table Centre. The simplicity of this design makes for a lovely easy sewing project and gives a truly fabulous finish to any table not only does the pattern showcase the beautiful hexagons but, as you can see, has the most beautiful diamond shapes too.
This project is perfect for showcasing the decorative stitches your machine has to offer and can feature some of your fabulous fabrics which have been waiting for the right time to be used. All you need to make the project is four beautiful fat quarter from your stash, 9” x 9” scraps of batting, a cup of tea and maybe a nice film in the background then you are ready for a relaxing sewing session.
