Join me, Kerrie Padmore from Living In Loveliness, for a festive Crafternoon Tea Party at Studio 8! You’ll create your very own beautiful Poinsettia Wreath Table Centre while enjoying a relaxed and inspiring day filled with sewing, creativity, and Christmas cheer.
This workshop is perfect for both beginners and more confident sewists. With step-by-step guidance, templates, and inspiring samples, you’ll explore free-motion embroidery and raw-edge appliqué, working with a gorgeous selection of fabrics provided for you.
Crafternoon Tea Celebration – 1:00pm
At 1pm, we’ll pause to celebrate our creativity with a delightful Crafternoon Tea. Take time to relax, chat, and connect with fellow makers while enjoying a delicious selection of sweet treats, cakes, and refreshments. It’s the perfect moment to step back, admire your progress, share ideas, and soak up the warm, festive atmosphere.
This isn’t just a workshop, it’s a chance to slow down, be inspired, and enjoy a special day just for you. You’ll leave not only with a stunning handmade table centre, but also with new skills, fresh inspiration, and a heart full of creative joy.

What You’ll Learn
Throughout the day, you’ll gently build your skills and confidence as I guide you step-by-step through:
• How to use Bondaweb for precise and confident appliqué
• How to sandwich and baste with wadding for a smooth, professional finish
• How to create beautiful texture using raw-edge appliqué
• How to add stunning stitched detail with free-motion embroidery
• How to bind your piece to complete your table centre (this may be finished at home, with full tutorial support included)

Advisory Note
Suitable for ages 16+. Some sewing experience is helpful but not essential — confident beginners are very welcome.
What to Bring / Kit Options
You will need:
• 1 metre of white fabric
• ½ metre of red fabric (for your poinsettia and binding)
• 3 x 12″ x 12″ quilt sandwiches
• 1 metre of Bondaweb
• Basting spray (optional)
All items are available to purchase on the day, and you’ll receive 10% off anything bought during your class.
Kits Available
You can select the Crafternoon Tea Party + Kit option if you’d like your fabrics prepared and ready for you.
(Please note: appliqué pieces are not pre-cut, as creating these is part of the workshop experience.)

Your Crafternoon Tea is included, a lovely moment in the day to pause, connect, and celebrate your creativity together.
Please let Kerrie know in the notes section when booking if you have any allergies. If no notes are added, it will be assumed that there are none.
What Else to Bring
• Your sewing machine
• Basic sewing kit
• Red and green thread (if using your own materials)
Important: Please only book if you have your own sewing machine, as machines are not provided.
Important Venue & Parking Information
You’re very welcome to pull up at the front of the building first to drop off your sewing machine at reception before parking.
Parking
• Please park at the back of the building
• Turn right as you arrive and follow signs for café parking
• Walk towards the café, then continue to the front of the building
• Enter through the small brown gate, following signs for “Entrance”
Arrival Details
I’ll meet you in the entrance area at 9:50am.
Please do arrive on time, once the session begins, I won’t be able to come down to collect late arrivals, and unfortunately missed sessions cannot be refunded or transferred.
If you arrive early, you’re very welcome to relax in the on-site café while you wait.
Accessibility
There is a lift available inside the building to take sewing machines up to Studio 8 (first floor).
