About Kerrie’s classes: Join Kerrie for fun and friendly sewing classes where expert advice and guidance will empower you to sew with confidence or enhance your existing skills. In our sewing classes, you have the freedom to bring and work on projects of your choice. Our classes are tailored to match your preferences, covering a wide range of sewing projects including soft furnishings (excluding blinds and curtains), patchwork and quilting, bag making, teddy bears, sewing gifts, and more. Whether you have a specific project in mind or you’re looking for inspiration, we’ve got you covered! . Visit our ‘Living in Loveliness’ Facebook page to explore photos for inspiration. Once you book your spot, Kerrie will reach out to discuss your chosen project, fabric options, and notion requirements. - Accurate fabric cutting using cutting boards, rotary cutters, and rulers.
- Seam allowances, turning gaps, and professional finishing of raw edges.
- Assembling and sewing pieces together.
- Techniques for zipper installation.
- Creating sturdy handles.
- Working with materials like wadding, foam, interfacing, and decorative stitches.
Materials are not included in the class fee and you will need to bring your own sewing machine. Upon booking, you’ll receive a material list tailored to your chosen project. Terms and Conditions: Please ensure you’re available for all dates of your selected workshop, as bookings are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be rescheduled. Living In Loveliness reserves the right to reschedule or cancel classes. In such cases, you’ll be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund. Snow & Severe Weather Policy: Our top priority during adverse weather conditions is the safety of everyone involved. We’ll provide as much notice as possible in case of class cancellation. If you don’t receive any communication from us, it means the classes are running as scheduled. Should a class be cancelled, you’ll have the opportunity to choose an alternative date. If you opt not to attend the rescheduled session and the workshop proceeds as planned, your booking won’t be transferred or refunded.
