Join Kerrie for a relaxing sewing retreat at the beautiful Hurds Hill, a Regency country house set in five acres of peaceful grounds with sweeping views of the Somerset Levels. This is a chance to escape daily routines and enjoy uninterrupted sewing time in a truly inspiring setting.
Sew in a bright, airy classroom with access to irons, cutting mats, and plenty of space. Two months before the retreat, you’ll receive a selection of beautiful sewing patterns to choose from. Your fee includes one pattern, and you’re welcome to purchase more at 50% off. Bring along ongoing projects or UFOs (Unfinished Objects) too—this retreat is about flexibility, creativity, and joy.

Itinerary
Friday
3:00 pm – Arrivals with tea, coffee & homemade cake in the Main Room
Settle in and enjoy a warm welcome in the Main Room. If it’s chilly, the open fire will be lit to create a cosy, inviting atmosphere.
3:45 – 5:45 pm – Welcome in the classroom & sewing
Get inspired as you dive into your first creative session in a light-filled, welcoming space.
6:00 pm – Prosecco welcome & fireside relaxation
Unwind with a glass of Prosecco by the roaring fire, mingle with fellow guests, and soak up the luxurious, relaxed atmosphere before dinner.
6:30 pm – 3-course dinner in the Grand Dining Room
Enjoy a beautifully prepared meal in the Grand Dining Room.
After Dinner – Slow stitching session in the Yellow Drawing Room with your first thank-you kit from Kerrie
Relax in the cosy. Yellow Drawing Room by the open fire and enjoy a mindful evening of stitching, creating your first special keepsake.
Saturday
8:30 am – Breakfast in the Grand Dining Room
Start the day with a delicious breakfast in a bright, inviting setting.
9:00 am – 1:00 pm – Sewing in the classroom
Continue your creative journey in the classroom, surrounded by like-minded lovelies.
1:00 – 1:45 pm – Buffet lunch & dessert in the Grand Dining Room
Relax and refuel with a variety of seasonal dishes.
1:45 – 5:45 pm – Afternoon sewing session
Immerse yourself in a focused, creative session with guidance and inspiration at every step.
6:00 pm – Fireside relaxation before dinner (bring your 3 fat quarters for a fun game (optional) – someone will win them all!)
6:30 pm – Dinner in the Grand Dining Room
Savour another sumptuous meal in a beautiful setting.
After Dinner – Second slow stitching project in the Yellow Drawing Room with Kerrie
Relax in the cosy Yellow Drawing Room by the open fire and enjoy a creative evening making your next beautiful project.

9:00 am – 12:00 pm – Sewing in the classroom
Spend a gentle morning sewing your beautiful projects.
12:00 – 12:45 pm – Lunch & dessert in the Grand Dining Room
Delight in a final leisurely meal with new friends.
12:45 – 2:45 pm – Last touches & packing
Take your time finishing projects, packing your things, and reflecting on the weekend’s inspiration.
3:00 pm – Fond farewells
Say goodbye in a warm, memorable send-off, taking home memories, inspiration, and your beautiful handmade creations.

Terms and Conditions: Please ensure availability for all selected workshop dates, as bookings are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled. Living In Loveliness reserves the right to reschedule or cancel classes, with affected participants offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
Snow & Severe Weather Policy: In the event of adverse weather conditions, our priority is everyone’s safety. We’ll provide ample notice in case of class cancellation. If no communication is received, classes are running as scheduled. Should a class be canceled, alternative dates will be offered. If opting not to attend the rescheduled session and the workshop proceeds as planned, bookings will not be transferred or refunded.
