Enjoy the Process: Sewing with Joy, Creativity, and Confidence
Over the years, I’ve had the joy of teaching sewing to everyone, from complete beginners taking their first stitch to confident makers looking to expand their skills. I’ve led classes in all kinds of settings: craft clubs, structured classes, relaxing sewing retreats, exhibitions, craft centres, and most recently, my popular Crafternoon Tea Parties. And one thing I’ve learned above all: the true magic is in enjoying the process.
Enjoy Every Stitch
No matter where you are on your sewing journey, every stitch matters. Appreciate the small steps and progress you’re making, and remember, mistakes are simply part of learning. Each stitch counts toward your growth and creativity.
Embrace the Journey
Try new things, learn as you go, and let your creativity lead. Each project, no matter the size, adds to your unique sewing story.
Celebrate the Little Wins
Every finished seam, new skill, and moment you kept going deserves a little happy dance. Celebrate yourself and your journey — sewing is as much about joy as it is about craft.
