Description

Ever wondered what to make with your scrap fabric? I always encourage sewists to save scraps as it’s amazing how many fabulous projects can been sewn up with them. So, with this in mind, I’m proud to introduce the second Issue to my series: ‘Sewn with Scraps’. Each new issue includes three patterns giving you ideas and techniques as well as showing you how to sew up those small, scrappy bits of fabric.

Sewn with Scraps – Issue 2 – ‘Sew Organised’ has been inspired by my love for dress making and patchwork and demonstrates my favourite block, the pin wheel. This issue has 14 pages of step by step instruction for three different projects: pretty pinwheel pattern weights – these beautiful simple pattern weights are perfect for holding paper patterns. A pretty pin cushion – this is the same design but trimmed to a circle to be easily worn on your wrist fr easy access to oins while you are sewing. A super cute scissor/rotary cutter holder – the perfect way to sew up some scraps and look after your beautiful much loved scissors and/or rotary cutter. The booklet is filled with lots of bright, clear supporting photos for each step making each project sew easy. I love any project that looks complicated yet is so simple!
