How exciting! I’m thrilled to have been asked by Sue Fletcher to host another fabulous charity event.

If, like me, you love sewing and paying it forward, join me for another charity sewing event on Saturday 29th February 1:30-5pm at Broad Meadow Lane Centre, Great Wyrley, WS67EJ. The venue has been kindly donated to us by the Trustees of The Senior Citizens Centre.

During the event we will be sewing quilts for children and which will then be gifted to Diane Sims from RC Willenhall Rotary Club in partnership with RIBI District 1210 to distribute to children affected by the floods.

We are hoping to welcome 20 people to support this event and help us make as many quilts as possible during the event. This event is suitable for adults and children aged 12 plus with supervising adults. Please book your place via the event on my website by clicking here.

You will need to bring your own sewing machine and thread for this event. However, we are asking for donations of fabric as we currently have none and would be super grateful for cotton and poly cotton fabrics. As a result of the raffles we run in my weekly classes, we have raised enough money to buy the batting for the quilts.

Here are a few examples of quilts we’ve made and gifted to local hospitals. So far as a group we have gifted over 200 sewn with love quilts.

I work in partnership with The Craft Cotton Company to write tutorials and we will be hosting an Instagram take over on Friday 28th February where I will teach you how to make a beautiful, super-easy baby quilt. Simply find The Craft Cotton Company on Instagram to see full details. So, if you aren’t available to attend the event but would still like to get involved you can make then post quilts to:
